Welcome to Thank You, Lone Gunmen!
A
fan project thanking the actors, creators, and everyone else involved
with bringing us the characters on The X-Files, and their own
TV series. Our goals were to raise funds to place an ad in the May 10,
2002, edition of The Hollywood Reporter, which we accomplished,
and to donate all extra contributions to selected charities.
.... We've
done it!
Although
this ad campaign had a very short time to fundraise
before materials had to be sent in, the Gunmen fans
were more than willing to come together and contribute
for a public Thank You to those who brought the Lone
Gunmen into our world. Thanks to the generous donations
from people around the globe, we were successfully able
to reach our goal of a half-page ad, as well as make
donations to our two charities!
The ad appeared in the May 10th edition of the Hollywood
Reporter, which was a special Farewell to X-Files
issue.

Tribute
to
The Lone Gunmen
|
|
In
the last nine years, they have become a part of our hearts, minds,
and culture in ways no one could have imagined. They have shown
that loyalty, perserverance, courage, and creativity are what
really makes heroes; that intelligence, kindness and desire for
justice can be more valuable to the world than all the weapons
ever built.
